Truth be told, I'm not a winter person. I'm never too pleased to notice the temperature beginning to plummet and the days becoming slowly but surely shorter. However, I am a cosy night in person. A reading a book, curled up on the sofa person. A long, luxurious bubble bath person.

So, to ensure the cosiest, comfiest and chicest winter possible, I'm turning to my favourite Australian brands for a dose of homegrown style and olfactory comfort. Think merino wool throws, wintry candles and velvet cushions. 

These warm, comforting layers will set the scene for many a night in, which I will envision will be accompanied by a glass of red wine and a charcuterie board topped with savoury delights. Or, perhaps a cup of tea and a biscuit (or seven).

Come to think of it, maybe I am a winter person after all.
